Ceramics & Sculpture

HANDS ON, HANDS ON, HANDS ON!   This happens to be the theme with our ceramic and sculpture class.  Students are working very hard to see in 3 Dimensions or in the round.  We began with pinch pot creatures that were designed with creative freedom from each student.  After they were glazed, we began to create a combo molded and or draped pot.  It had to have a design on the bottom section and a neck of sorts.  Optional attachments were handles and lids.  Today (September 8) students began learning about paper folding, cutting, and sculpting.  Artist that we looked at were Peter Callesen & Clive Stevens.  PINCH POT IMAGES COMING SOON!
