Charcoal Drawings - Students chose Musicians or Dancers from the past or present.  They worked in charcoal from a black n white reference photo.  These are commemorative drawings to celebrate the life of the artist.

A second phase of the charcoal drawing was to turn to Oil Pastels and work through color theory in general terms.  Students were encouraged to stay with the theme of celebrating an artist but ideas were left to their personal likes.
