Painting

The class is divided into Painting 1 & 2 students.  The goal is for all students in their first year to gather as much practice with as many mediums as they can before they enter the 2nd year.  Our students in their 2nd year focus on strengthening their portfolio by developing skills and techniques in one or two mediums.  All students are encouraged to work from themes that is important to them.  We work from ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil, and even coffee.  Students learn a great number of ways to accomplish a painting within the medium by developing multiple techniques.
